In any laser printer- color or black & white only – , our big concern is how to identify the trouble caused by toner, cartridge, drum, blade etc…Our question is which ones makes trouble? We should buy the new ones or we can do it for ourself to save money ?
First look at the printout carefully.

In this case, you should replace or refill toner. Remember toner only . If you want to identify which color affected, try to test this color by printing a test page with this color only . - If the printout is not faded but there are lines or stripes then your drum has problem. It might be scratched.
- If the printout is not faded, and no lines or stripes appeared but it has spots or spatted with spots like this:
then your cartridge has problem with blade. You can clean and reinstall it. Or buy the new ones for replacement. Up to you !
