Your eyes

Your eyes

Shine softly your eyes divine, glazed
and stripped of comet’s shining tail,
with feathery powder of light through
your eyes divine, I look in your soul.

Dazed at your wonder, a magic divine.
Well, may I touch the light, the brand
new glow I’d felt within magic, is this
so?  to love you – your eyes even more.

Specked glitter glowing in this night,
while a flame lit, surrounded by dark-
ness – your eyes gazed into my world,
my heart flamed, torched by this love.

Might the soul, lost, yearning to forget
all memories, an ocean of done denials
unfurled…but a pain is mine – it’d yet,
of course,  lost in a magic of your eyes.
